August 2026: I am very excited to be starting as an Assistant Professor at Albion College (MI) this fall, where I’ll be teaching courses in mineralogy and petrology as well as volcanology and natural disasters in the Earth & Environment department. I am thrilled to be returning to my liberal arts roots!
March 2026: My paper, “Reliability of quartz-hosted melt inclusions and discrete rhyolite reservoirs revealed by H isotopes, trace elements, and volatiles,” with coauthors Dr. Ayla Pamukcu and Dr. Brian Monteleone, has been published in Science Advances!
January 2026: I started a position as a postdoctoral scholar at the University of Washington, where I am being advised by Dr. Cailey Condit in the Structural Petrology of the Lithosphere lab!
December 2025: My dissertation has been accepted by my reading committee! My PhD in Earth & Planetary Sciences from Stanford University is officially conferred.
August 2025: I successfully defended my dissertation, Storage and Eruption of Silicic Magmas: Perspectives from the Searchlight Magmatic System, NV.
